Travel insurance is compulsory for all Bamboo travellers and is different to other medical or health insurance you may already have in your home country.
Whilst it is unlikely, there are several unexpected occurrences that could happen when you travel abroad and travel insurance makes sure you have the right assistance should you really need it. From losing your luggage or important documents such as your passport, to an accident or injury whilst you are travelling. A reliable travel insurance specifically tailored to travelling abroad makes sure you are covered should an unexpected situation occur. Most importantly, travel insurance will cover you for medical expenses that are often particularly high for foreign tourists in many countries.
Bamboo cannot be held responsible for any costs associated with accident, injury, cancellation or curtailment of your trip. It is essential you have adequate insurance cover in place prior to commencing your travels.
It is not compulsory that you purchase the insurance cover offered by Bamboo through Chubb but it is compulsory that you have adequate travel insurance in place before you travel. If you do not wish to purchase the cover through Chubb, you can choose an alternative insurance policy of your choice. The policy should provide cover for the destinations you will be travelling to your entire trip and from the day you leave your home country to the day you return.
