How can I verify Bamboo?

If you haven't yet heard of Bamboo it's not that surprising as this is the result of the recent merger between The Bamboo Project and the Global Volunteer Network.

The Global Volunteer Network is one of the original founders of international volunteer travel and a leader in this field. The Bamboo Project was founded in 2013 by two guys with an extensive background in international volunteer development and travel. The merger between these two industry leaders was decided to form the very best organisation on the planet, to reach more and more international projects that need help and to match volunteers with work around the world.

Now called 'Bamboo' we are one of the largest legitimate travel companies operating in this industry. Bamboo is the outcome of two great organizations coming together to achieve even more than they could have independently, and bring all the verification, trust and general awesomeness which they have established over the years into one amazing team we call the BamFam.

Bamboo is also proud to have the Bamboo Foundation which allows us and others to fundraise and support our projects financially alongside the fantastic work carried out by our travellers on site. We encourage donors and supporters to do their research, and we've compiled a list of independent verification sources you can pass onto your donors.

Remember, we're always available to answer questions about who we are and what we do, and unlike most, we actually have a substantial list of ways that you can verify that we are who we say we are.
