Program costs: US$250 application fee + US$495 per week (1-4 weeks), and US $200 per week after this. This includes accommodation, meals, coordination, supervision, training, airport pick up.
Village Teaching and Outreach in Uganda
Do you want to ride to work on the back of a motor cycle as the sun rises? Volunteers learn to make baskets while discussing domestic issues with amazing Ugandan women's groups. You'll feed pigs and cows. You'll plant carrots, cabbages and tomatoes. You'll dig wells. You'll help primary students learn fractions. You'll play Duck! Duck! Goose! with a bunch of 5 year olds. The sky is the limit!

Farming in Ghana
Do you have green fingers? Great gardening skills? Then grab this opportunity to work alongside local Ghanaians and assist in the farming program. The land belongs to the children's home and is used to grow food for the children and generate income to support the running of the children's home; excess produce is to be sold locally. Duties will include weeding, planting, watering and harvesting.
Gender Equality in Argentina
Are you passionate about gender rights and equality. Want to help girls and women in their fight for independence and better health? In the Gender Equality program, volunteers work at a centre for single mothers who come from abusive homes or have been abandoned. The centre focuses on women's rights, women's education and empowerment, assistance with prevention of domestic violence, and women's health. Volunteers in this program can get involved with workshops, such as sewing or dressmaking, as well as caring and accompanying female victims of abuse and domestic violence. Other tasks include teaching basic English, making diapers, helping in the kitchen and maintaining the library of the centre. Please note volunteers for this program need to have at least an intermediate understanding of Spanish. Community Development in Argentina
Do you want to help create better communities? Meet locals and help them meet their goals? At the Community Development project volunteers work with children and adults on improving their education by teaching English or assisting with other tasks, which are related to community development. You will help at a small open library, which is located in a poor neighborhood of Cordoba and organizes a variety of recreational and cultural activities for the community. Volunteer tasks may include the organization of recreational activities, teaching English to children and adults, developing creative programs, such as art, music or dance and help with administrative issues. Please note volunteers for this program need to have at least an intermediate understanding of Spanish. Coffee Cooperative in Guatemala
Are you a coffee fiend? A java junkie? In the Coffee Cooperative Project, volunteers will assist with the sustainable production of coffee in a coffee-farming community in the Guatemalan highlands. Volunteers may be involved with coffee-picking in the fields, roasting the beans and packaging the final product, alongside wider agricultural activities, such as helping in the nursery. As well as various agricultural activities, volunteers will also be involved in marketing of the coffee product to the wider market and with support of the community by helping in reforestation and possible construction projects.
Andean Cultural Immersion in Peru
Do you love the simple life? Are you searching for a deeper cultural experience? At the Andean project, volunteers will live with a host family in the mountains of the Sacred Valley. You will assist the family with their agriculture and textiles practices. You will live like they do, eat what they eat, and be exposed to centuries-old traditional life-styles. You will also provide some educational opportunities to members of the local community; for example teaching English or reading and writing skills. Please note that due to the remote location of this program, volunteers in the cultural immersion program will not be able to take part in Spanish lessons during their project. However, we can arrange for Spanish lessons before or after your project, though this may include additional costs for housing.

The Christmas and New Year projects are specifically designed for volunteers who would like to travel to Guatemala during the Christmas/New Year break to be part of a very special holiday both for volunteers and the communities of Antigua. This week-long tour will offer a range of activities and while the Xmas project starting on December 22 will offer activities at a childcare centre, a home for the elderly and even on a coffee farm. The New Year tour, starting Dec 29th will have opportunities to work at a childcare centre and a home for the elderly. This weeklong adventure will invite you into the hearts of the Peruvian people and allow you the chance to bring smiles and laughter to underprivileged children and adults in Cusco, Peru. The Xmas project, starting on December 22, will focus on children's programs and will also involve volunteers in a medical campaign for rural residents. The second tour over the New Year, starting Dec 29, will also offer opportunities in a variety of volunteer projects where you will be warmly welcomed.
